In today's society we have an overload of information and data. Books that give advice seem voluminous and wordy. If only there were a more concise way of sharing vital information.

The Skinny On... is a series of clever, humorous, and entertaining books that teach significant lessons in an informal and engaging fashion. Stick figures in dialogue help the reader learn concepts and ideas--with a smile, of course. Consider the wish in the first paragraph answered. And each book can be read in about an hour (your rate of reading may vary).

These books also contain bibliographies for further reading. I admit these books are a tad simplistic but are good introductions into their topics. Further reading is recommended.

This volume deals with the topic of the credit card "game". We have a credit card crisis in the United States (maybe the world for all I know). We spend now to pay later. We often pay the minimum amount each month. What happens when our income dwindles or dries up but the credit card bills keep coming? When is interest calculated? This book also explains the FICO score and credit ratings and how the cards help as well as hurt one's credit rating. The credit card by itself is neither good nor evil; it depends on how the card is used. They come in handy in emergencies and credit scores reflect how well the cards are used, if they are used, or even if one has one. Not having a card, or not using a card, can be detrimental to one's FICO score.
